After crossing 2 busy streets and seeing a parking lot (Applewood Mall Shopping Center, Appleton & Shady Lane) near another trailhead I went and moved my truck to the parking lot. You have to slow down or stop a lot and noticed newbies don't know what "passing left" trail etiquette means. Find the best walking trails near you in Pacer App. But it's biggest flaw is the lack of directional signs. Also Main Street in this area can be challenging to cross as the cars are going pretty fast. The trees offer a nice windbreak for most of the ride.
